WE'RE ABOUT 9 New Site

Today, we launch our brand new, world-wide-internet-powered website! The one you're looking at right now. There's good fun to be found all over the site, but we're especially excited to load up the Fan-Land page (from the WA9 menu) with videos of you covering our songs. Do it!

This is an iPhone/iPad-friendly site. No flash required. If you click the + sign on your iPhone browser and choose "Add To Home Page," you'll get a nice little We're About 9 icon on your home screen.

FALCON RIDGE FOLK FESTIVALJULY 24, 2010

The happiest band in the world played at the happiest place in the world. You may have heard of Red Bird and Red Horse. We got to sing eight-part harmony with our friends Red Molly and The Brilliant Inventions, forging yet another super-group with "Red" in the name: We're About Red Inventions.

And much to our delight, the crowd stuck around for our Sunday mainstage set, played our Hollywood game with us, and left with copies of our new album! Thanks so much to our Falcon Ridge extended family!

We're About 9 hereby announces the July 24 release of our new compilation album, Amalgam. Amalgam includes 14 previously released songs from Something Magnetic, I Stopped Listening, Live Wherever You Are, and Move Like Light (Katie's solo CD). Plus enhanced versions of I Don't Know (Pat plays organ!) and All The Time (Pat sings!). And there's one brand new a cappella song called The Dark Away. 17 total songs on one CD.

We couldn't be more excited to release this new album at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.
